This smoothie is a delicious and healthy way to satisfy your sweet tooth!
About this Recipe
By: Luci Conkling
For years I have spent serious money at places like Smoothie King or Jamba Juice for a simple smoothie. With COVID-19 in full swing I had a serious craving for a sweet fruit smoothie so I decided to make my own. This is my twist on a classic blueberry smoothie.
- 1 cup of frozen blueberries
- 3-5 tablespoons of Vanilla greek yogurt
- 1/2-1 cup of lemonade
It really couldn’t get any simpler than this recipe. 3 ingredients and a blender and you’ll have a tasty cold drink. I use frozen fruit instead of ice because it blends better and it is easier (and cheaper) to keep lots of fruits on hand if they are frozen. The vanilla greek yogurt is really the key to this recipe because it gives the smoothie a milkshake like consistency.
Step by Step Instructions
Add blueberries and lemonade to blender and start with 3 tablespoons of the vanilla greek yogurt. Blend.
Once it looks like the blueberries are all blended check the consistency of the smoothie. If you want it thicker, add more yogurt. If you want it thinner, add milk or milk substitute.
Blend until you have reached desire consistency. Pour and serve.
